On Sunday July 22nd, the team at Confessions of a Thrifty Bride hosted the first of three Bridal Bazaars set to take place this summer. Bright and early that morning, we rose from our wine-induced slumber and made our way, music pumping and butterflies-a-flutter, to the site of our first solo event. Vendors slowly began to trickle in to The Assembly Hall to garnish their tables with everything from favours and florals to shoes and cosmetics. We armed ourselves with Thrifty Cards and Ring Pops, and before we knew it the venue was a-buzz with bustling brides.

The entrance way was filled with the soothing sounds of Jake Dudas' acoustic strumming, while the North Room had it going on with a designer gown blowout sale, bridesmaids dresses, brooch bouquets, favours and jewellery. The main hall housed an intriguing collection of vintage dresses, pretty pumps, passion products and a fun photo booth to capture all of the magic - we admit we had a little fun with this one!

We rewarded our loyal registrants with our Thrifty Card - a card that will allow them savings from all vendors participating in any of our Bridal Bazaars. Nothing felt better than when we witnessed brides leaving our Bazaar clutching their spoils in their diamond-clad hands. It seems we weren't the only ones who had a blast in Picture X’s rad photo booth. Check out pics from the show but visiting their profile here.

We would like to thank all of the vendors involved for giving of your time and resources. For a list of vendors, please visit our Participating Vendors tab. We were also stoked with all the brides that came out; it was great fun to finally put a face to a profile.
Please join us for our next show on August 19th, 11am to 4pm at The Assembly Hall. We will have a bunch of new vendors selling snazzy items – and some new additions that will surely benefit brides.

Hope to see you soon
xoxo
